A hot air balloon accident happened near Goodsprings on Thursday morning, leaving seven people with injuries. The aircraft collapsed while attempting to land. Three people were held in the hospital in Las Vegas, while doctors released others with minor injuries.
On Thursday, eight people and a pilot, which makes a total of nine passengers, went on a balloon flight above Vegas. For some reason, the balloon landed hard, throwing a pilot and four passengers off the aircraft, which continued to bounce for another half mile. Other four people fell out of the balloon when it started rolling on the ground.
Seven people were injured in this crash. One of them was airlifted to a hospital, and an ambulance transported six others. After getting medical attention, four people went home, while three of them stayed for further treatment. Luckily, none of them had sustained life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is unknown. The balloon belongs to a man from New Mexico, who owns a company of these aircrafts.
