It’s Not a Serial Killer: Women in Las Vegas Died in Separate Crimes

Five women have been murdered in Las Vegas recently, and that has sparked a rumor that there is a serial killer in town. After solving almost all these crimes, Vegas police said that they did not find any relation between them.

During August and at the beginning of September, five women went missing and were later found dead. That prompted a Twitter rumor that there was a serial killer in Vegas. The post on Twitter went viral, and people got scared. However, the police solved four out of five cases, and it turns out that there are no connections between them. Each of these women was a victim of separate crimes.

The police still investigates the murder of a woman whose body was discovered in her car in August. A man killed an elderly woman with a sledgehammer on August 29. The police caught him near the crime scene, covered in blood, with a murder weapon in his hand.

On August 30, a man reported that his 37-year-old fiance was missing. Two days later, detectives found her body in Lake Mead. They closed the case but didn’t disclose the cause of her death.

At the beginning of September, the police discovered the body of a 39-year-old woman in a metal barrel. The police caught a suspect who admitted he first shot the woman and then hid her body in a barrel.

The most recent murder happened on September 6, when a 19-year-old girl was shot in the head with a gun. The police discovered that her boyfriend is the murderer.
